Simone Illgen is a hiking guide and has been travelling on the PURPLE PATH in various formats since January 2025, from short "walkabouts" to day tours and hikes lasting several days. She shares her enthusiasm for art and nature as well as the arts and crafts, places and stories of the Ore Mountains and Central Saxony.
The next "purplepath hike #8" on 30 May leads from Niederwiesa to Flöha and back to Niederwiesa via Frankenberg and Lichtenwalde. the hike covers 25 kilometres in six hours; the number of participants is limited to 20 people. Please bring hiking boots, clothing suitable for the weather and rucksack provisions. The cost contribution is €10.00.
